Kingdom Builders will help local homeowners with repairs

Homeowners who wish assistance with repairs may pick up a Kingdom Builder application at Circle of Care or participating churches in Monroe County. Members of the community may join the effort by volunteering and/or donating for materials and tools. Applications will be accepted during August. Work will be done in October during Fall school break. The potential to directly assist those in need in the community is limited only by community support through service, donations and prayers. Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist has homecoming & revival

Members of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church family, 82 Moore Road, Macon invite everyone to attend their Annual Homecoming Service on Sunday, July 24 beginning at 12 noon. The guests will be Rev. Dexter Jordan and the Stone Creek Baptist Church. Annual revival will follow on July 25-29, with services starting nightly at 7 p.m. The speaker for the week will be Rev. Willie Finney Jr. and the Smith Street Baptist Church of Macon.

Little Rogers CME has Car-Truck-Motorcycle Show

Little Rogers C.M.E. Church will hold its 7th Annual Old Timers Classic Cruisers Car-Truck-Motorcycle Show & Swap Meet at T. Lynn Davis Auction Company on Broadway in Macon on Saturday, July 30 from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. There will be trophies for the top 75 winners, including Best in Show, Best Paint, Best Engine, Longest Distance Traveled, Most Club Member Participation, Club President’s Choice, Most Unique Vehicle. There will be door prizes, Step Show, 50/50 drawings, food, music and more. Pre-registration is $20, $25 day of show. K.E.N.T. Ministries to meet
