Monroe County deputies are looking for a Forsyth man accused of cutting his brother during a drunken brawl around 4 a.m. on June 13. According to the incident report, Jaime Mann, 46, of 24 West Old Indian Springs Road told Deputy Watson he was arguing with his brother, Derrick Mann, 43, when his mother, Annie Mann, came into the living room to stop the arguing. He said he started talking to his mother in the doorway when his brother attacked him.
Mrs. Mann said both Jaime and Derrick had been drinking, and they started to fight in the living room in front of the television. She said Derrick had his brother on the floor, choking him and then cut him with a knife he had taken from the kitchen. After cutting his brother from the top of his ear down the right side of his face following along his jaw line, Derrick Mann fled the scene.
Jaimie Mann was bleeding heavily, and EMS took him to Monroe County Hospital. The area around the property was searched by Sgt. Sherrell and Watson, however the suspect was not located. Warrants were taken on him for aggravated battery and possession of firearm or knife during commission of crime.
