For the 31st year, Forsyth United Methodist Church will open the doors of fellowship to the Monroe County community and also welcome the children from the Methodist Children’s Home in Macon on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24. So that no one may feel alone or thankless on this special holiday, meals will be delivered throughout the community, from Culloden to High Falls to Juliette and, of course, Forsyth. Meals will also be served in the Fellowship Hall.
The roster of delivered meals is compiled from names given the church by the Older Americans Council, Forsyth United Methodist Church monthly food pantry participants, other local food banks, the ministerial association and call-ins. If someone you know needs a meal delivered by a smiling face this Thanksgiving holiday, please contact to church office at 478-994-5706 with the name, complete street address, contact phone number and number of meals needed.
