It was two months later than scheduled but the class of 2020 finally had their special night of graduation at Dan Pitts Stadium on Friday night. Nearly 300 seniors wore caps and gowns and sat in socially distanced chairs as they received diplomas, albeit without the traditional handshake with principal Jim Finch. Finch saluted the class as one of the best-ever, with a school record 90 percent graduation rate, 18 seniors being admitted to UGA and three headed to Georgia Tech. One senior has already earned two associates degrees.
