Last article I called out the NBA for its hypocrisy and for kowtowing to the evil, communist regime in China. The communists are oppressing and beating protestors in Hong Kong, yet the NBA came out in support of the communists and against the protestors. The greedy NBA players and owners care more about earning millions of dollars than they care about the suffering of the millions of people being oppressed under Chinese communism. This all stemmed from Daryl Morey’s, the General Manager of the Houston Rockets, comment in support of Hong Kong freedom fighters. Morey tweeted, “Fight for freedom, Stand with Hong Kong.” For Morey’s comment, the communists demanded the NBA apologize – and they did. The NBA surrendered to their communist overlords. That should surprise nobody because the entire NBA is nothing but leftist elites who detest the United States and the freedoms we have.

IT’S HARD to believe that a capitalistic, American corporation, like the NBA, would side with the communists; it’s even more difficult to believe that a black American athlete would choose oppression over freedom. That would be like a Jew siding with the Gestapo during WWII. However, LeBron James did just that – he sided with the communists. LeCommie James called Morey “uneducated” for his “Stand with Hong Kong” comment. Perhaps James should re-distribute his hundreds of millions to those that didn’t earn it, in keeping with communist equality. Historically, we know that most African slaves were captured by other African tribes who then sold them to Muslim slave traders. Back in the day, LeBron would have been one of those tribal chiefs selling his own people into slavery for promises of riches. It’s despicable that James would side with the communists.

DESPITE THIS country making him one of the wealthiest athletes in world history, LeBron James detests America. James was born poor, to a single mother in Akron, Ohio. With God-given talent, hard work, and being fortunate enough to be born in the United States, James has been able to live “the American dream.” If there’s anyone whose life proves the decency of America, it’s LeBron James - who makes over $50 million per year. LeBron proves that, in the United States, anybody who wants to work hard can earn the American dream. But James is a fraud. Previously, he has said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere” and “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” Apparently, freedom doesn’t matter to LeCommie because he strongly opposes freedom of speech in China; concentration camps don’t matter to James because he remains silent on the millions of Muslims being held in those camps in China; and oppression must not be an injustice to James because he is silent on Chinese oppression of millions of its own people. Of all the complex problems in the world, the clear right vs. wrong of the Chinese protestors against the Chinese government is one issue where even a 5th grader can see the wrongs of communism. Unfortunately, the NBA, LeBron James, and the American media are not as smart as most 5th graders.

Recently, I was asked, “Why do you support Trump?” Yes, he can be immature; he can be “unpresidential;” he picks fights when he shouldn’t; and he frequently tweets when he should be quiet. However, those things make Trump who he is. I respond in a couple of ways. First, back in 2016, it’s not like the choice was between Trump and Harry Truman; the choice was between Trump and the worst person to ever seek the presidency. Hillary was, and is, a horrible, dishonest, vile person. Since 2016, every time Hillary speaks, she proves why Trump was the only choice. Only a braindead, ignorant person would vote for Hillary. On second thought, that describes most Democrat voters I know.

SECOND, TRUMP is what pushback looks like. Over the last 25 years, the media has become more and more partisan, constantly bashing and name calling Republicans. And how have the Republicans responded to this constant bashing? By cowering in the corner, hoping they don’t get called some vile name. The media pounded Bush-43 into silence. He never fought back. McCain was called a “maverick” whenever he criticized Bush or criticized other Republicans. McCain groveled to the press every chance he got. Then, in 2008, when he became the face of the Rep party – he was bashed and called names yet was too stupid to realize why he was being targeted. He so wanted the media to “like” him. Then, we have Sarah Palin. She has a great story: elected to the local school board, mayor of a small town, elected governor, and then selected to be McCain’s running mate. Instead of being called a woman of accomplishment, the media drug her and stomped her, and her children, through the mud; all the while the weak “Maverick” did nothing to defend her. McCain’s treatment of Palin was despicable. Next was Romney - a decent person but it was much the same with him; the media and the Dems hammered him because he’s a Republican. Over the past several decades, the media has shown nothing but contempt, disdain and scorn for Republicans.

SO, ALONG comes Trump. He refuses to take the beatings the media always gives to Republicans. He fights back. Trump is pushback; the media can’t handle it. You would think that other Reps would learn from Trump, but that would be giving them too much credit. Republicans so want to be loved by the media, yet are too ignorant to realize that the media will never love them because Republicans don’t hate America, as do the Dems; thus will never win approval from the Dems, libs or the media.

WEEKLY THOUGHT: Monroe County votes on November 5 for a Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (T-SPLOST). If approved, 100% of the money remains in Monroe County.
