Monroe County commissioners Tuesday cleared the way for a new restaurant franchise to come to Forsyth.

The Hospital Authority of Monroe County and Navicent Health reached a deal Tuesday that will let Navicent manage Monroe County Hospital (MCH).

A new franchise, possibly a restaurant, is likely coming to Forsyth after the city approved a plan to help finance the project to re-develop a blighted area of town.
